Jon is Of Counsel to the firm, practicing out of the Chicago office. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation, corporate and real estate transactions, and estate administration.
Jon is known for the breath of his litigation and corporate experience, his commitment to excellent client service, and his practical approach to approaching and resolving issues.
Jon was awarded a B.A. degree by Princeton University cum laude in 1958 and a J.D. degree by Harvard Law School in 1961. He became Of Counsel to the firm in 2000, after practicing with the Chicago firms of Keck, Mahin & Cate and Ross & Hardies for approximately 40 years. He has held an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell for the last thirty of these forty years. He also was an instructor for many years at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
Jon is a member of the American, Chicago, and 7th Circuit Bar Associations, the Maritime Law Association, the Lawyers Club of Chicago, and the Economic Club of Chicago.
