Carlos M. Recio
Carlos is Of Counsel to the firm, practicing out of the Washington, D.C. office. He focuses his practice on immigration and naturalization law, complex litigation, and commercial law.
After earning a B.A. from Seton Hall University, Carlos graduated from Georgetown University in 1977 with his J.D., and subsequently received an L.L.M. from Harvard University. Carlos is licensed to practice in various federal courts and well as the states of Maryland, California, the District of Columbia, and Virginia. He formerly served as a law clerk to the Honorable Damon J. Keith on the United States Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, and also was an Assistant Professor of Law at the Detroit College of Law, which is now Michigan State University College of Law.
Carlos is a member of the District of Columbia, Virginia State, Maryland State, Florida and American Bar Associations.
