Rick Russo and Kevin Shields are featured speakers at the Decatur Area SHRM Chapter’s Annual Human Resources Conference. Rick will present “Hostile Work Environment in All Its Forms,” which will cover a variety of potentially hostile environments and provide insight on steps employers can take to prevent and respond appropriately to these issues. Kevin will present “@Employers: Update Your Social Networking Policies #NLRB,” which will address the workplace impact of social networking and other forms of on-line media, including the legal parameters of monitoring and restricting employee use, as well as employer policies designed to curb abuse and protect against liability in light of recent rulings from the National Labor Relations Board.
