
Sarah is a transactional attorney who advises business owners, entrepreneurs, and investors on business planning, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate transactions and counsels individuals and families on estate planning and trust and estate administration.
She represents entrepreneurs, closely held businesses, and investors in acquisitions and sales of businesses through asset and stock transactions and advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including entity formation and governance, capital raising, and general business planning. Sarah regularly counsels clients on tax and securities considerations related to mergers and acquisitions, negotiates complex commercial agreements, and assists businesses in protecting and licensing intellectual property rights.
In addition to her corporate practice, Sarah advises individuals, families, and business owners on estate and succession planning, helping clients develop comprehensive estate plans that integrate personal and business objectives. She also assists executors and trustees through the estate and trust administration process, guiding families through the legal and practical steps required to administer estates and trusts.
Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Colorado, with distinction, and her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, summa cum laude, Order of the Coif.
