Dennis E. Merkley
Dennis focuses his practice on representing financial institutions, businesses, and business owners in matters involving business law, transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial real estate. He works closely with and advises financial institutions on compliance issues, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, loan documentation, workouts, and foreclosures. Dennis represents developers and commercial real estate owners through all phases including acquisition, site development, financing, construction, leasing, and sale.
With over fifteen years of experience, Dennis has served as both outside counsel and in-house counsel advising businesses and financial institutions on all their business legal needs. He has presented on a variety of banking-related topics at conferences hosted by the Community Bankers Association of Illinois and Bank Director.
