Giovanni Rios

Gio advises employers and management on corporate, labor, and employment matters, with a focus on employee benefits, executive compensation, and a range of corporate and municipal law issues. He is based in the firm’s Chicago office.

Before becoming an attorney, Gio gained valuable experience working with employee stock ownership plans, giving him practical insight into plan administration and fiduciary responsibilities under ERISA. In law school, he received the Dean’s Award for Employee Benefits Law and worked as a judicial extern to the Honorable William J. Fisher of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota—experiences that reflect Gio’s commitment to delivering legal solutions that foster sustainable and empowering client outcomes.
